Dr. Peter Caron specializes in pain management, sports medicine, and psychological wellness. His journey began at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, where he trained extensively in Tui Na, Tai Chi, and energy work. Dr Caron then attended PCHS NYC where he competed his MSTOM. While in school he audited the majority of the herbs program a second time, going deep into the practice of herbal medicine.

While at PCHS, he pursued advanced training through international aid work, a year studying Five Elements with Lonny Jarrett, and advanced estim orthopedics and sports medicine with Dan Wunderlich. Upon graduation, Dr. Caron spent two years in rural Guatemala working with Global Healthworks Foundation running a free clinic for indigenous communities. He performed over 10,000 treatments during this time.

He continued on to get his CA license, his NCCAOM Diplomate status, and began a teaching career at Pacific Rim College in Canada. In 2019 he returned to New York to establish Gotham Acupuncture and teach at PCHS. During him time at PCHS Dr. Caron established an off site at On Point, a harm reduction center in Harlem. He has taught both herbal and theory courses, but was most well known as a clinic supervisor. His shifts maintained wait lists for both patients and students for the majority of his tenure.
